Spring time in the Caribbean is a little different from the ‘traditional’ spring image we see in the general media around us. Although most chicks here are yellow and the flowers bloom and blossom, Caribbean spring is just different. To celebrate our unique climate we’re having a Happy Spring Break on Curacao this year!
Carnival on Curacao is celebrated with an abundance of colourful parades filled with feathers, shiny clothes and happy faces.
Colours are everywhere, all the time! Let’s explore what the farm has to offer this carnival holiday on Curacao!
This Spring Break holiday marks the start of a new season, a season of growth 🙂
After the rain we’ve experienced during February this really is a great time to visit the farm. All the trees are blossoming, the flowers are blooming, the bees are buzzing and the chicks are growing so fast!
Summer Holidays are approaching fast! And it’s about time if you ask me!
It’s been a good school year that’s for sure, but boy oh boy do we deserve 6 longs lazy weeks of (hardly) no alarm clocks, no lunch boxes, no leaking juice bottles, no school shirts and all of the rest.
Ok fair enough, some of us can’t take leave from work for the entire 6 weeks, but a few routine-less days will do the trick, believe you me. Summer Camp time!!!
It’s time! It’s Christmas Holidays!
What a wonderful time of the year! Over the last few years my little family and I have has the privilege of celebrating Christmas in all sorts of climates. And let me tell you: they’ve all been great! I love Christmas time, I love the peace it brings… until boredom sets in with the kids, when the tree is done and all the decorations are sorted…
